Job Title: Programme Head / Manager

Description 

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced TV Programme Head / Manager to lead our programming department and drive the creative vision of our network.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of our TV programmes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and audience engagement, including YouTube,

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a strategic plan for the programme's content lineup, aligning with market trends, audience preferences, and brand objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end production process of TV programmes, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with directors, producers, writers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a team of producers, editors, and creative staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Identify new content opportunities, negotiate acquisition deals, and oversee the development of original programming.
• Ensure all programs meet high standards of quality, relevance, and compliance with broadcasting regulations.
• Analyze audience data and feedback to refine programming strategy and improve viewer engagement and ratings.
• Possess a strong understanding of YouTube best practices, including SEO, content optimization, and audience engagement strategies, including creating, hosting, and managing content for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve YouTube monetization requirements, including subscriber growth and watch time.
• Experience in creating, hosting, and managing content for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in television broadcasting or journalism.
• Proven track record of success in TV programme management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of TV programming, production, and broadcasting.
• Strong on-camera presence and presentation skills.
• Excellent writing, reporting, and interviewing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research abilities.
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics) is a plus.

Salary

• N1,800,000 - N3,000,000 Per Annum
