We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sponsorship and Marketing Lead - Adron Games 2024

Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract: 2 months (October - November, 2024)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship and Marketing Lead to join the team for Adron Games 2024.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, securing, and maintaining sponsorships from relevant brands and organizations that align with the event's values.
• This role involves actively attending events, networking, and pitching sponsorship proposals, as well as profiling and targeting brands for partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Acquisition:

• Identify potential sponsors whose values and brand align with the mission of Adron Games 2024.
• Develop and execute tailored sponsorship proposals and presentations for prospective partners.
• Lead negotiations with sponsors, securing financial and in-kind support for the event.

Event Attendance & Networking:

• Attend a minimum of 20 events per month to connect with key decision-makers, such as brand and marketing heads.
• Actively network at industry functions, sports events, corporate gatherings, and conferences to pitch the Adron Games sponsorship packages.
• Represent the brand in a professional manner at all functions and events.

Target Profiling & Research:

• Profile potential sponsors, detailing key decision-makers and analyzing alignment with Adron Games 2024 goals.
• Conduct in-depth research on organizations to determine their brand objectives and how the Adron Games can complement their marketing strategy.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors before, during, and after the event.
• Provide exceptional service to sponsors, ensuring their expectations are met, and deliverables are fulfilled according to the sponsorship agreements.

Marketing Collaboration:

• Provide detailed reporting on sponsorship acquisition activities, including leads generated, pitch success rates,

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in sponsorship acquisition, sales, or marketing.
• Strong understanding of brand alignment, corporate partnerships, and sponsorship strategies.
• Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to attend a high volume of events monthly, with a focus on engaging key industry stakeholders.
• Experience in the sports, events, or entertainment industries is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with regular travel and attending evening or weekend events.
• Strong presentation and pitch skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision-makers.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting sponsorship targets.
