The ITA Lagos Office - Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Consulate in Lagos - supports the Italian companies to promote their products and service in Nigeria.

Job Description
We are looking for 2 Assistant Trade Analyst, position M1, on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate shall assist the Director of the Office and work independently on the following tasks:
Organize, coordinate and take part in promotional activities, such as trade shows pavilions, conferences, business trips and advertisement campaigns;
Develop strategies for promoting Italian products and services in Nigeria;
Identify and establish direct contact with Nigerian importers, agents, and suppliers interested in relating with Italian counterparts and update the office’s marketing database;
Within the framework of the above tasks, contribute to expanding business opportunities for Italian companies in Nigeria;
Perform public relations activities including contacts with local authorities and business representatives;
Provide prompt assistance to Italian companies willing to establish and/or strengthen their business ties with Nigeria companies and vice versa;
Use existing market reports on local demand, distribution and trade flows, performing research and in-depth analysis when needed;
Ipdate the ITA website with news and information regularly;
Manage and supervise budget and accounting reporting;
Carry out any assigned administrative task required to prepare the ground for the above mentioned activities (ask for quotations, plan estimated costs, write or edit purchase orders, etc.);
Prepare Market analysis, research projects, data collection and processing, reports and presentations
Carry out any other marketing, analysis, promotional, training and administrative activity suggested by the Director of the office (LAGOS);
The candidate may be required to travel domestically and internationally.
Work Hours:
Full-time 38 hours per week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, (including 30 minutes lunch break) and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nigerian citizens of legal age may be admitted to the selection process, as well as candidates of different nationalities, provided they hold tax residency and a permanent residence and work permit in Nigeria (ITA does not sponsor a working Visa or cover any related costs)
Tax residence in Nigeria (all candidates)
Absence of convictions and pending charges in Nigeria or other states.
Bachelor's Degree (general)
Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, International trade or similar fields
Master’s Degree
Experience in similar position with minimum 6 months.
Salary and Compensation
The total cost for ITA cannot exceed € 31,380 annually, which corresponds to an all-inclusive gross monthly salary between €2,100 - 2,300 (on a 12-month basis).
