Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision Responsibility:

• You will conduct thorough market research to identify user needs, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
• You will develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with the company's business goals.
• You will prioritize product features and functionalities based on user feedback, market demands, and business objectives.

User Experience Responsibility:

• You will advocate for a user-centric approach throughout the product development process.
• You will conduct user research (e.g., surveys, user interviews) to understand user needs, pain points, and desired functionalities.
• You will collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our products.

Product Development & Management Responsibility:

• You will work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to translate product vision into actionable plans.
• You will define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• You will manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring features are delivered on time and within budget.

Product Launch & Optimization Responsibility:

• You will develop comprehensive launch strategies to maximize product adoption and user satisfaction.
• You will conduct data analysis to continuously optimize product features and performance.
• You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user metrics to track product success.

Collaboration & Communication Responsibility:

• You will effectively communicate product vision and strategy to cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales).
• You will collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
• You will craft compelling presentations and documentation to communicate product plans and progress to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management within the payments or fintech industry.
• Any relevant certifications in product management, project management, or payments technology are advantageous.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, financial technology, and the broader payments landscape.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting data to drive product decisions.
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges, demonstrating resilience in overcoming obstacles.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, influencing skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards a common goal.
