We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Litigation Lawyer

Location: Alagomeji, Yaba - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of legal documents and correspondences (including but not limited to Pleadings, Briefs of Arguments, and other court processes).
• Drafting, analysing and reviewing legal agreements, documents and legislations.
• Drafting and review of contracts, agreements etc.
• Representation of clients in meetings and court Proceedings.
• Providing regular and detailed updates to clients on their respective matters/projects.
• Conducting research on legal issues and drafting of legal opinions.
• Proffering advice to clients on legal issues and projects.
• Representation of the firm in meetings and negotiations.
• Accurate file maintenance and management
• Writing of legal opinions and articles.
• Assisting partners in end-to-end legal responsibilities of the firm to clients.
• Communication with Partners to ensure efficient case management.
• Client management in consultation with partners.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Law Degree
• Certificate of Call to the Nigerian Bar
• 5 -10 years post call with litigation experience.

Applicants must possess the following skills:

• Core litigation skills.
• Have a good understanding of the basic principles of law.
• Must be computer proficient and able to navigate through legal software.
• Experienced Advocate
• Excellent drafting and legal research skills.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
