We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sachet Oil Filling Machine Operator

Location: Anambra
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• The role involves operating the machines (filling, sachet, labeling, capping, sealing, date coding) to achieve the desired output while working within acceptable GMP and GDP guidelines.
• To carry out CIP before production and ensure oil filling machines are in order.
• Oversees carton-making area, sachet sealing area, sorting area, and packing in carton
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
• Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
• Operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.
• Maintain daily production records
• Followed and Maintained health and safety procedures
• Clean machinery and maintain housekeeping and sanitation practices
• Ensure the use of PPEs.

Key Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum ND Certificate or B.Sc. Degree
• Proven 3 - 5 years of working experience as an oil-filling process operator in a manufacturing firm
• Candidate must be 30 - 35 years of age
• Must be a detail-oriented person
• Understanding of production and plant processes
• Analytical and numerical skills: the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for long periods
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
• A strong strategic and business mindset
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills.
