Job Description

• We are currently recruiting for the role of a Junior Architect to join our dynamic team.
• We are seeking a motivated and creative individual who is passionate about architecture and keen to contribute to innovative projects.
• This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse architectural designs, develop technical skills, and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, drawings, and models for various projects.
• Support senior architects in project planning, design development, and execution.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, presentations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Participate in site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure project compliance and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized.
• Conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, and material specifications to ensure designs meet legal standards.
• Collaborate with the architectural team to prepare project presentations and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in architectural design and drafting (internships or full-time experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction processes.
• Ability to interpret and develop architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

• Experience with sustainable design practices and knowledge of green building standards (LEED certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with 3D rendering software like Lumion or V-Ray.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
