Position Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team and drive our growth strategy.
• The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
• This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development within the ICT or other relevant sector.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expand market presence.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and new market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
• Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Lead and mentor the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Report on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's  Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the ICT or other related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of ICT market trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
