We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Billing and Collection Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Billing Responsibilities

• Manage and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify billing information and correct any discrepancies or errors in invoices.
• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and handle billing-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, and finance) to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and assist with audits as necessary.
• Maintain customer billing records and update databases as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist customers with product/service questions, account issues, or other inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, escalating more complex issues when necessary.
• Provide product/service information and assist with order processing and payment questions.
• Document customer interactions and escalate feedback to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 1 year of experience in billing, customer service, or collection-related roles.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve billing issues quickly and efficiently.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in billing records and customer interactions.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in billing systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles is a plus.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
