Job Title: Production Operations Manager - Fashion House
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee and manage the entire production process of our fashion house.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all production units operate efficiently, maintain product quality, and meet delivery deadlines while overseeing a skilled team of tailors, bead workers, stone setters, embroiderers, cutters, and more.

Key Responsibilities
Optimize Production Units:
Ensure that all production units, including tailors, bead workers, stone setters, embroiderers, dispatchers, cutters, pressers, and cut & sew teams, operate at full capacity by providing necessary support and guidance throughout all production stages.
Maintain Equipment:
Ensure the smooth performance of all units by regularly checking and maintaining all machinery, such as Tinko, Phonix, industrial, and manual machines, as well as tools, to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Ensure Compliance with Design Instructions:
Guarantee that staff adhere to specified styles and designs by providing them with the required materials and monitoring work-in-progress to maintain quality and accuracy in production.
Zero Tolerance for Material Misuse:
Enforce a strict policy against material wastage and theft, ensuring that all fabrics, beads, stones, pearls, and other garment accessories are used appropriately and accounted for.
Applicant Testing & Evaluation:
Assess job applicants through practical tests to determine their employability, including evaluating their time management and the neatness of their output. Provide feedback to the Managing Director (MD) on their suitability for the role.
Workforce Scheduling:
Prepare and manage weekly rosters for all departments, including tailors, cut & sew teams, embroiderers, bead workers, stone setters, dispatchers, cutters, pressers, and storekeepers, to ensure smooth operations and adequate staffing.
Track Production & Materials:
Manage and monitor production processes, ensure timely completion of jobs, oversee carryovers, and manage the procurement of fabrics, materials, and accessories.
Verify all purchases in terms of price, quantity, and supplier information.
Reporting & Vendor Management:
Prepare periodic reports on production targets, staff performance, material usage, and procurement.
Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of fabrics and other supplies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fashion production management or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in managing production machinery, including industrial sewing machines.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail, especially regarding quality control.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
