Job Brief
We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Officer who can help us expand our clientele.
You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales/patronage of our service offerings and forging strong relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate is expected to increase our visibility, reach our target audience and be one who is passionate about sales and marketing and has experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The individual will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Duties
Use online and social media marketing to maintain and expand the Company's customer base, grow our following and social media presence, and drive sales using traditional and nontraditional strategies, including social media
Oversee all company website and social media content including newsletters, blogs, articles, and social media posts
Learn about, and use, the right platforms to build and maintain a customer base and generate leads
Create and manage product launch strategies
Promote Company brand, including social media ads and sponsored posts
Establish messaging and branding standards
Develop and create content including emails, guest posting, and social media campaigns
Create compelling content for marketing materials, including websites, blogs, social media, and advertisements.
Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote products or services.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
Manage digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business goals
Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership and collaboration with other organizations
File and reconcile expense reports.
Stay updated on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to optimize marketing strategies
Create and disseminate memos, letters, forms and other correspondence
Develop and manage marketing budgets and expenditures
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on marketing performance and ROI
Foster a positive and engaging brand image through all marketing channels
Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation
Test and optimize marketing tactics to improve performance and ROI
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Secure new business using a variety of methods, such as cold calling, email, trade shows, and referrals
Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets
Analyse customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services
Meet with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personal contact information on prospects and existing clients.
Job Requirements
B.Sc / BA in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
Minimum of 5years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
Effectively communicated with employees, vendors, and customers to cultivate solid relationships across the board.
Proven experience as a marketing or Business Development Officer or similar role
Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles Federal Housing Authority, Federal Ministry of Works & Housing Administrative Assistant
Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness
A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Scale
N100,000 Monthly and a percentage-based commission on all business brought in successfully for the Company.
