We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Reporting Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

• The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, analysis, and forecasts.
• This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• The ideal candidate will support the finance team in ensuring compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Maintain and update financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and dashboards.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and statutory reports.
• Provide support for special projects and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN) preferred, including candidates in view.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS or GAAP).
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
