Health and Development Support Programme (HANDS) is a homegrown Non-Governmental Organization that is officially registered in Nigeria. It was founded in 1995 with the primary goal of supporting the National Onchocerciasis Control Programme in Nigeria as CBM Onchocerciasis Control programme. Over time, HANDS has broadened its scope to encompass various initiatives aimed at improving public health, fostering development, and providing emergency services. Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Location: Katsina

Purpose
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing monitoring and evaluation activities that specifically measure the effectiveness and success of the STILNN project in Katsina State.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all monitoring and evaluation activities for the Resilience Strengthening for an Inclusive Life in Northwest Nigeria (STILNN) Project in 5 LGAs of Katsina State.
Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation strategies to assess the impact and effectiveness of project interventions.
Coordinate with project stakeholders and partners to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans.
Supervise and support staff in conducting monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
Report regularly to the project manager on progress, challenges, and achievements in monitoring and evaluation efforts.
Prepare and submit comprehensive monitoring and evaluation reports to demonstrate project impact and accountability to donors and stakeholders.
Represent the organization at project-related meetings, conferences, and events as assigned by the project manager.
Monitor and evaluate project activities to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments to enhance project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with monitoring and evaluation standards, organizational policies, and donor requirements.
Risk Involved:
The position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer may involve risks such as data integrity issues, project assessment challenges, and ensuring accurate reporting.
