Job Summary
Suacasa Nigeria is seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects within the real estate sector.
This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Lead project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure on-schedule completion of projects.
Monitor and manage construction activities, budgets, and schedules to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential construction issues.
Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders and provide updates regarding project progress and performance.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
Oversee procurement processes for materials and services required for construction projects.
Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Measurable KPIs
Percentage of projects completed on time and within budget.
Quality ratings based on client or stakeholder feedback.
Safety incident reports and adherence to safety regulations.
Change order frequency and management effectiveness.
Stakeholder satisfaction rating based on project delivery and communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the real estate sector.
Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
