Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team within the construction and real estate sector.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills and a solid understanding of procurement processes specific to our industry.
This role is critical in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to the construction and real estate market to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and value.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors, ensuring favorable conditions for the company.
Manage the procurement process, from requisition to purchase order, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and timelines.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure they meet contractual obligations.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchases, contracts, and vendor communications.
Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about construction and real estate trends and pricing.
Implement best practices for procurement and continually seek opportunities for process improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations on procurement status and performance metrics for senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) are advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or real estate sectors.
Proven track record of successful negotiations and contract management.
Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Keen analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Supplier performance ratings and compliance with contractual terms.
