We are currently supporting several states and federal organisations in the deployment of our Health Insurance Platform (HIP), Electronic Health Records (EHR) System and other products. Specific Responsibilities

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Machine Learning and Data Science Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning and data analysis to develop and implement innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that drive data-driven decisions within our products and across the organization.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and design end-to-end machine learning solutions.

The Machine Learning and Data ScientistOfficer is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities to our existing software and solutions.
• Use Generative AI tools to create multimedia resources e.g. pictures, videos etc.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to derive insights and identify trends that inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with software developers to build robust data pipelines and ensure seamless integration of models into production systems.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability through hyperparameter tuning and modeling strategies.
• Communicate findings and results to stakeholders through visualization tools and reports, translating complex data concepts into actionable insights.
• Stay current with advancements in machine learning, data science techniques, and tools, and proactively apply new knowledge to projects.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team to uphold coding standards and improve processes.
• Contribute to the development of research and proof-of-concept projects to explore new methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or another programming language used for data analysis and model development.
• Solid understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts related to machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and technologies for deploying machine learning solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary Gross
N400,000.00 / month.
