Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our Dangote Application team.
This role is pivotal in leading and delivering SharePoint-related projects that align with our business goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to scope, time and budget.
This role involves managing resources, coordinating the efforts of team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance our SharePoint environment and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budget, and risks, for SharePoint projects.
Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, business analysts, and IT support staff, to ensure project objectives are met.
Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients to align project goals with business needs.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members throughout the project.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of multiple projects and priorities.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and change requests.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and issue resolution plans. Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new SharePoint features and processes.
Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint and Power Platform features and best practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or any related field
PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on SharePoint projects.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Experience with cloud-based SharePoint environments and migrations.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices.
Knowledge of SharePoint workflows, Power Automate, and Power Apps for automating business processes.
Expertise in using project management software like Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Proficient in conducting presentations, leading meetings, and facilitating discussions.
Advanced problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.
