About the Department
The People Team is responsible for all the touchpoints of managing the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to offer letters, contracts, benefits, performance management tools, and employee off-boarding with both local laws and company policies.
Moreover, the team designs, develops and administers all workplaces where our employees are based, whether it be the training site, warehouse, and/or our support offices.
People Team uses data from employee lifecycle management to improve employee management and effectiveness, ensuring all components of the People Group are using data to drive decision-making.
Effective programming within the People Department ensures that employees are seamlessly supported through their employment touchpoints, and that core employment structures and compensation strategies are used effectively to attract and retain high performing employees within the constraints of business operations.
About the Role
The Officer, People Analytics & Systems is responsible for optimizing HR processes, reducing manual tasks, and minimizing errors in HR operations.
Your day to day will range from specific analytical, operational and quantitative tasks that contribute to attaining the objectives of the People Team.
You’ll excel in this role if you have a penchant for technology, inclination towards designing and executing smooth processes, and can use quantitative skills to make data-driven decisions to inform problem-solving of people related issues within the organization.
You should be able to deftly play with different technology solutions and use them to enable smooth functioning of the People department.
This role will report to the Director, People.
What will you do?
Maintain employee data accuracy; consolidate and report as well as protect sensitive information
Manage and iterate on a Google sheet-based, in-house Leave Management system
Train new team members with respect to Leave Management system
Develop and design People systems to drive efficiency in the People department
Create, develop and assist in any People team efficiency improvement projects
Partner with People leadership to identify and implement new People technologies that align with departmental goals and employee needs
Support the configuration, integration, and maintenance of HRIS system while ensuring data integrity and security within
Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics capabilities to provide valuable insights to People leadership
Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors
Provide technical support and training to People staff on the proper use of HRIS systems and related tools
What You Should Have
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or a few years of experience in HR Operations or similar
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
Must be able to maintain the utmost confidentiality under all circumstances
