Job Title: Planning Engineer II

Job Summary
Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
You are responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining schedules and plans for construction and engineering projects.
This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into the project planning scenario.
Help ensure that all new power generation facilities are equipped to transfer electricity to the grid and direct customers
Monitor the progress of projects, identify any discrepancies from the set milestones, and assist in implementing corrective measures in coordination with the Managing Director.
Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections. Ensure other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available.
Regularly visit sites for both new proposals and existing projects to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
Develop elaborated proposals for changing processes and procedures assessing the impact on directly related processes/functions.
Communicate with contractors to investigate any delays or issues with the quality of work or materials, ensuring all aspects meet the project’s specifications and standards
Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.
Assist in providing technical support during the initial concept and planning stages of projects.
Help develop risk management plans by identifying potential risks associated with projects and recommending strategies to minimize or mitigate these risks.
Ensure accuracy of vendor/contractor/technical partner daily safety and operational reports.
Help ensure that all new power generation facilities are equipped to transfer electricity to the grid and direct customers
Ensure discovered non-conformances (NCRs) are identified, reported, tracked, and closed out before acceptance of the work requirements.
Monitor the progress of projects, identify any discrepancies from the set milestones, and assist in implementing corrective measures in coordination with the Managing Director.
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls, and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and the company’s Code of Practices.

Assist in providing technical support during the initial concept and planning stages of projects.
Ensure that all necessary field pre-jobs, real-time, and post-jobs documents are properly utilized and duly signed and filed, whilst monitoring and overseeing the timely production of quality documentation.
Educational Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Must have at least 4 years of experience in Project Management and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Planning.
Have the ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team.
Have great leadership and interpersonal skills
Have excellent relevant work experience with significant experience in Oil and Gas Service & Services Project Management in the oil & gas industry
Have hands-on experience using Primavera software/Microsoft Project
Have exposure to high capital value projects in a multi-disciplined environment.
Have sound experience in a client-facing role
Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Have the Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have an effective problem-identification and solution skills.
