Job Title: Lead Project Engineer

Job Description
The Lead Project Engineer oversees the entire planning and organizing of all required operational-related activities of the company on project sites and ensure the delivery of projects in a timely and qualitative manner.
He is also responsible for managing applicable project resources (manpower, material management, etc.).
He is also responsible for finding a technical solution and choose the good tools, methodologies and equipment for the project team in case of problem on site.
Main Responsibilities
Defines project responsibilities by identifying project scope, phases and elements. Defines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standard.
Define project engineering organization charts and staffing.
Ensure review of contractual documents engineering related interfacing with other project function
Ensure correct consideration and application of technological requirements in all projects phases up to the handing over of the plant to the Client.
Ensure skills, know-how and methods for the relevant technologies are developed and available and that an appropriate plan for training is in place.
Participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling, directly supervising the finalization of engineering plans and schedule, including the architecture of detail engineering outsourcing.
Promote and participate to the induction of the engineering team to contract/project requirements.
Contribute to Risk management and other inter functional reviews for the engineering.
Ensure projects are completed according to project plans/schedule.
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination verifying adequacy and consistency of design solutions.
Take necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines, ensuring that the engineering team properly interfaces with other project team members.
Ensure that adopted technical solutions are in line with project cost and time schedule objectives, taking appropriate action to avoid, absorb or minimize deviations. Supervise issue of engineering deliverables approving key multidisciplinary documents of own competence
Support Project Manager in relations with Client and/or Licensors regarding process and specialist engineering problems
Ensure freezing of project engineering documents and engineering close out in accordance with project schedule.
Education and Training
B.Sc. Mechanical Eng.
Training Institute qualification in relevant field with at least 15 years and/or Certification of relevant institute
Work Experience:
Minimum 8 years on Management and operations preferable in fabrication /construction or oil and gas industry.
Age 30 - 40.
