We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Secretary and Office Assistant.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including mailing, scanning, and faxing documents.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, manage correspondence, and handle inquiries from clients and staff.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and company events as needed.
  • Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems both electronically and physically.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Greet visitors and ensure a professional front-office environment.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and handling petty cash.
  • Support other departments with various tasks as needed, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE, HND, or ND qualification
  • Proven experience as a Secretary, Office Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Applicants should reside in Lagos Island or close.
