Job Title: Legal Adviser

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Organization is urgently recruiting an experienced Legal adviser who will be in charge of attending to all legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with legal correspondence; collate information needed for company secretariat function and produce Executive Management Reports as required.
• Timely drafting, review and execution of legal documentation such as land agreements, deed of assignments and contract of engagement.
• Review legal matters of clients and that of the company and work upon managing them efficiently.
• Drafting terms and conditions of company’s estate contracts, agreements and other documents with approval from the directors.
• Represent the organization in court proceedings, arbitration and mediation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation and records.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate transactions and operations.
• Provide legal advice on real estate transactions to clients relating to complaints.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience.
• Prior Experience working with real estate companies will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record in handling real estate transactions, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution.
