Job Summary
To ensure that the sales team have the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise to compete and win business in the marketplace, especially with accountability for development and implementation of best practice in sales excellence.
To accelerate sales enablement and performance with an established range of solutions.
To support sales enablement function by providing training, consultation, and coaching services.
To work closely with frontline sales managers and leads in designing and executing effective management disciplines to drive Interswitch sales.
To implement timely service delivery and engage with relevant stakeholders and share updates on progress and achieved milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Compliance:
Develop knowledge and understanding of Interswitch's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.
Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
Sales Operations Management:
Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
Accelerate sales enablement and performance with an established range of solutions.
Support sales enablement function by providing training, consultation, and coaching services.
Work closely with frontline sales managers and leads in designing and executing effective management disciplines to drive Interswitch sales.
Data Collection, Analysis, Management, Insights and Reporting:
Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently. Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
Help others get the most out of training data management systems by providing support and advice.
Develop weekly progress reports which include activities progress against set timelines, key risk and control indicators, and overall improvements on current processes and procedures that minimize relevant risks. Submit reports to Lead, Sales Operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
Attend meetings led by Lead, Sales Operations, along with relevant stakeholders, and acquire client needs on sales strategies requirements; execute sales mitigation activities in line with communicated requirements.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with internal sales personnel, contractors, clients, and consultants in sales ecosystem.
Build effective working relationships within Interswitch, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.
Policy and Process Development & Implementation:
Work within established procedures to achieve specified goals.
Work with sales leadership to develop, execute, optimize and assess enablement program.
Determine sales enablement priorities with sales stakeholders.
Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to stakeholders.
Build a trusted relationship with sales representatives, and serve as a liaison between sales, marketing and product teams.
Facilitate content creation and use with sales and marketing teams. Consolidate and integrate feedback into enablement strategy execution activities.
Sales Training and Assessments & Knowledge:
Management Identify sales training needs and develop or acquire sales training courses to fill gaps in existing programs, methods, or tools; run training programes for specific areas using prepared content.
Provide coaching or allocate a Coach or Mentor to team members to develop their skills.
Contribute to the creation of assessment centers, tailor pre-existing assessment exercises, draft new content as directed, draft documentation.
Train or arrange training for assessors to engage candidates, record assessment observations, and provide appropriate feedback to line management.
Implement policies and processes, collect best practices and case studies, and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to capture, and share knowledge on Sales outcomes and innovative practices to share knowledge among colleagues.
Track training budget and report variances to Lead, Sales Operations.
Channel Partner Onboarding and Offboarding:
Manage the delivery of Channel Partner onboarding and offboarding processes, ensure accurate and timely completion of all administration processes, provide support and guidance to line managers, new joiners, and leavers throughout the process and propose improvements to procedures.
Requirements
Education:
University First Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Sales and Marketing or any Finance-related field.
Experience:
At least 6 years' experience in Sales, especially Sales Training and Enablement experience to enable job holders to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others.
