Job Description
For assigned entities / contracts:

• To execute day to day financial administration of contracts and entities including the monthly closing and provision of accurate management information of actual, budget and forecast. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial administration, including general ledger management, in accordance with the Group Accounting Manual.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal management standards.
• Conduct monthly closing activities, including inter-company reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet files.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, movement schedules) to the Consolidation & Reporting Controller.
• Provide monthly management reports and analysis to direct Manager.
• Collaborate with direct Manager and regional Controller to prepare budgets and forecasts for assigned entities and contracts.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable teams on processes and work methods.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities, identifying and addressing variations.
• Ensure accurate valuation and depreciation of assigned fixed assets.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing required information.
• Monitor filing of relevant documents with authorities.
• Process pension, NSITF, and ITF returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in Finance Projects, contributing to the development and optimization of financial processes.
• Implement segregation of duties to enhance internal control effectiveness.
• This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and compliance of assigned contracts and entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Masters Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
• Proven experience in financial administration and reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAN).

Key Competencies:

• 4 - 5 years experience in similar role
• Previous experience in a maritime company will be an advantage
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Accurate and timely submission of reports.
• Compliance with IFRS standards.
• Internal & external customer satisfaction.
• Computer Literate.
