Samuelson Management Limited - Our client, a Refinery and Petrochemical Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Technical Officer

Locations: Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Head of Group Technical Operations
• Provides technical direction and support to staff engineers and other Divisions
• Project Manage new Refineries and Petrochemical Plants
• Develops project plans and negotiates project contracts
• Liaises closely with other professionals, including engineers, builders, architects and surveyors, as well as the in house project teams.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

•  A University Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Project Management or related field with a minimum of second class division or equivalent.
• 12 years cognate at a senior technical level in a refinery / petrochemical plant
• COREN Certificate, Membership of the NSE or other related professional bodies
• Proven project management skills
• Knowledge of IS-based project management tracking - An advantage
• Ability to review engineering reports, construction plans and other
• Technical documents for the purpose of analyzing and determining appropriate courses of action.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 to 12 years post-graduation experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• A postgraduate degree and / or professional qualifications will be a distinet advantage.
• The candidate must be team players, high-achievers and exceptional professionals with the requisite qualification and track record to fill a number of top positions.
