Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced MS Power Apps and SharePoint Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.
This role is crucial in ensuring that our SharePoint solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
The SharePoint Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing, validating, and ensuring the quality of SharePoint applications, customizations, and integrations.
This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to identify issues, document defects, and ensure that solutions are delivered with the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SharePoint applications and customizations.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and performance of SharePoint solutions.
Implement and maintain QA best practices, standards, and procedures for SharePoint development and deployment.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review requirements, specifications, and design documents, providing feedback from a quality perspective.
Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks, using relevant tools and frameworks.
Continuously improve and expand the automation coverage to increase testing efficiency and reliability.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
Analyze test results to identify patterns, root causes, and areas for improvement.
Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the success of SharePoint deployments and identify areas for enhancement.

Test documentation and report accuracy
Production Defect Rate: Reduce post-release defects to less than 2% of total defects reported.
Achieve 90%+ satisfaction in stakeholder feedback on QA processes and deliverables
Process Improvement Implementation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any related field
ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on SharePoint or other enterprise content management systems.
Experience with creating and maintaining automated test scripts for SharePoint environments
Proficiency in test automation and scripting languages like PowerShell or JavaScript.
Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as they relate to SharePoint.
Experience with SharePoint workflows, customizations, and site configurations.
Understanding of SharePoint permissions, governance, and compliance standards.
Ability to log, track, and prioritize defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on production.
Ability to design and execute performance tests to evaluate the scalability and responsiveness of SharePoint applications.
Ability to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD process to ensure continuous quality assurance.
Understanding of security best practices and experience in conducting security testing for SharePoint environments.
