Job Title: ICT Instructor

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Job Description

• OCECS is seeking a qualified Computer Instructor to join our team and deliver exceptional courses in software programming, web development, and computer hardware to our students in the Itoko community.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering students through education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and informative computer courses, tailored to the specific needs of our students.
• Provide hands-on instruction and guidance, ensuring students understand complex technical concepts and can apply them effectively.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in software, web technologies, and hardware.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall quality of our educational programs.
• Prepare students to take international professional certifications and excel in their careers.

Objectives:

• To equip students with a strong foundation in computer literacy and operation.
• To enable students to work proficiently with basic computer software, including Microsoft tools, data tools, and programming tools.
• To develop students' understanding of coding concepts and their ability to create designs.
• To prepare students to successfully write and pass certification exams.

Qualifications

• NCE, HND or Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in teaching computer appreciation, MS Office suites, design tools, and programming tools and languages.
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and design tools (Corel Draw, Adobe, and Canva).
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware components, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Certifications in Computer appreciation, MS Office tools, Database administration tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) or hardware technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
• Patience and temperament to teach children ages 7-19.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 / Month.
