Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect & Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced SharePoint solutions that meet our organization’s evolving needs.
The SharePoint Architect & Developer is responsible for designing and developing scalable SharePoint solutions that align with business objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and integration, along with strong development skills to build and maintain complex SharePoint environments.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding SharePoint strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content management, workflows, and security models.
Develop and maintain architectural documentation, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Evaluate and recommend new SharePoint technologies and features to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions using tools such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, and Visual Studio.
Plan and execute data migrations to SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to users.
Develop custom APIs and connectors to enable seamless data exchange between SharePoint and other systems.
Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance, ensuring fast load times and a smooth user experience.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting issues and applying updates.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex technical problems and implement enhancements.
Ensure that SharePoint solutions are well-documented, and knowledge is effectively transferred to support teams.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any related field
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE: SharePoint, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint architecture and development.
Strong understanding of SharePoint security, governance, and compliance practices.
Expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related Microsoft 365 services.
Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Azure services.
Knowledge of SQL Server, Active Directory, and other supporting technologies.
Experience with cloud-based SharePoint solutions and migrations.
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
