Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The primary objective of this role is to identify business opportunities and secure projects/contracts within the water and wastewater treatment sector. This will be achieved by leveraging technical partnerships and capitalizing on the growing demand in the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities and Benchmarks
Technical Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction for business development efforts in the water and wastewater treatment sector.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accountability and profitability in project execution.

Stakeholder Leadership:

• Lead and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including technical partners, departmental heads, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies (government and professional associations), to ensure exceptional performance.

Top Accountabilities:

• Lead, develop, and implement a comprehensive strategy for the water and wastewater treatment business.
• Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure the successful operation of the water and wastewater treatment division.

Qualifications and Role Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Process, or related field).
• A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in water and wastewater treatment technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian water and wastewater treatment market, including key trends in supply and demand.
• Ability to engage with key professionals within potential client organizations.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to make a personal impact and interact effectively across different organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Nigeria as required.

Remuneration
N500,000 - N600,000 Monthly.
