Job Title: General Manager

Responsibilities
General Management:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets, sales growth, and profitability.
Formulate and execute business plans to ensure long-term success and sustainability.
Provide leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee daily operations, including production, maintenance, inventory management, safety, and quality control.
Ensure optimal utilization of machinery and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.
Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to meet financial targets.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and market penetration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential markets.
Lead, motivate, and develop the team to ensure high level of performance and employee engagement.
Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet the highest standards.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives to the Executive Director.
Maintain effective communication with all departments and stakeholders
Mechanical Responsibilities:
Design and analyze mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Conduct simulations and tests to validate design performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test plans.
Collaborate with other teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve design issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering practices.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
7-10 years of experience as a General Manager or related position in an engineering company.
Strong understanding of mechanical processes, materials, and project management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel to project sites
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in Panel automation.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
