Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to extract valuable insights and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and programming.
You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and clean large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and advanced analytics tools.
Interpret data and identify patterns, trends, and correlations to uncover actionable insights.
Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical models to support analysis, and reporting, and to identify trends and patterns.
Create visualizations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data requirements for business projects, and initiatives, and to deliver insights.
Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to implement solutions and improve data integrity.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and apply them to enhance analysis processes and methodologies.
Contribute to the development and improvement of data management and analysis processes and workflows.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
Qualifications
An individual that is excited about the prospect of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a portfolio of clients and projects that is quickly growing.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proficient in the use of SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python/R, Advance Level Excel, Jupyter Notebook, and SAS
Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data mining techniques, and data visualization tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in data analysis.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A proven communication and presentation skills
Should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a data-intensive or analytics-driven environment.
Strong academic records from a top-tier institution
Experienced in statistical modelling and possess strong knowledge of advance Excel features is desired.
