Job Title: Telemarketing Officer

Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling:
Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers from a provided database.
Identify customer needs and pitch relevant loan products accordingly.
Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various loan products.
Lead Generation:
Generate qualified leads by understanding customer requirements and offering suitable loan solutions.
Convert potential leads into sales opportunities by engaging customers and following up regularly.
Work with the sales team to pass on leads for further processing.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Address customer queries and concerns regarding loan products promptly and professionally.
Provide accurate and relevant information to customers, ensuring transparency in the loan process.
Sales Targets:
Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.
Work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and close sales efficiently.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all calls and customer interactions.
Ensure that all required documentation is completed and submitted as per company guidelines.
Report daily call activities, leads generated, and sales conversions to the Sales Manager.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Adhere to privacy laws and ensure customer information is handled confidentially.
Stay updated with any changes in loan products, policies, or regulations.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.
Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to stay aligned with company objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
Sales Acumen: Ability to persuade and influence customers to consider loan products that meet their needs.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
Time Management: Ability to handle a high volume of calls and manage time effectively.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining accurate records and processing applications.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer objections and solve problems effectively.
Minimum Requirements & Key Skills:
A minimum of 1-year job experience
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills;
Energetic with a passion for customer service;
Must be Computer literate.
Have the ability to influence and collaborate with a team;
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the confidence to interact at all levels of the organization.

Salary: N55,000 Monthly + commission or performance pay range from 0 - 40,000
