We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Greeting Visitors:

  • Welcome and direct visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals.

Answering Phones:

  • Handle incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.

Managing Appointments:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Maintain the calendar and coordinate room bookings as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute documents and reports as required.

Customer Service:

  • Provide information and assistance to clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Address inquiries and resolve minor issues in a timely manner.

Office Maintenance:

  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as necessary.

Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and coordination.
  • Assist with special projects and events as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies or materials up to 15 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with standard working hours [specify if applicable].
  • May require occasional overtime or flexibility.

Salary
N30,000 - N40,000 / Month.
