Job Title: Livestock Expert

Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop and implement project plans related to livestock management and production.
Provide expert advice on the feasibility and requirements of livestock-related projects, including resource allocation and timelines.
Ensure livestock management considerations are incorporated into project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Specialized Guidance and Support:
Offer specialized knowledge on best practices for livestock care, nutrition, breeding, and health management.
Assist project teams in understanding and addressing livestock-related challenges and opportunities.
Provide technical guidance on the selection and implementation of technologies and methodologies for improving livestock operations.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Oversee the progress of livestock-related projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the impact of project interventions on livestock productivity and welfare.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication and Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all livestock-related project inquiries and issues.
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to livestock management.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:
Ensure that all livestock-related projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in livestock management that may impact project outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes related to livestock management.
Develop and deliver regular progress reports and final evaluations to senior management and stakeholders.
Role Requirements
Master's Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in livestock management with a strong understanding of animal health, nutrition, and breeding.
Experience in project management or working within a Project Management Office is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as livestock management systems.
