Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities
Operational Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Identify areas for improvement and design strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Lead the development of annual operational plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
Analyse existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
Implement process improvements and best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Mon itor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and make adjustments as necessary.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals.
Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and effectiveness.
Prepare and present regular performance reports to Senior Management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence.
Resource Management:
Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including Personnel, Equipment, and Materials.
Ensure optimal resource management to meet operational demands and support business objectives.
Manage inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of product and service delivery.
Address and resolve any compliance or quality issues promptly.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure alignment between operational processes and customer expectations.
Project Management:
Lead and manage operational projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and facility upgrades.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant Advanced Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of Experience in Operations Management, with a proven track record of Managing Complex Operations and driving Performance Improvements
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
