Job Description:Eligible candidates must be an experienced qualified nurse
1. Leadership and Management:
- Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct performance appraisals and facilitate professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
2. Clinical Practice:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, ensuring individualized treatment plans.
- Provide expert clinical advice and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
3. Quality Improvement:
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Participate in clinical audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to enhance patient safety.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication among nursing staff, patients, and families to promote a supportive care environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and senior management to address concerns and provide feedback.
5. Education and Training:
- Identify training needs and facilitate educational programs for nursing staff.
- Stay updated with current nursing practices and trends, disseminating knowledge to the nursing team.
6. Resource Management:
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient practices.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.
Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
