Job Summary
To assist in the management of expectations of multiple stakeholders
Ensure buy-in and ownership of companywide initiatives with the Management Team, manage complex assignments/projects: Conceptualization, design, and implementation of specific initiatives.
Ensure timely and accurate data for Management review and suitable actions
Responsibilities
Conduct PESTLE analysis (daily review) – Review the impact of Political, Economic, Sociological, Technological, Legal and Environmental events on the business and come up with actionable recommendations
Provision of Market research on Insurance sectors to Strategic Business Units and Management
Information gathering on financial services and the insurance sector
Collating, storing, monitoring, and sharing of Macroeconomic, Political, Legal, InsurTech, Regulatory, and Competitor intelligence information
Carry out Competitors’ Financial Performance Analysis to determine the growth rate of the key financial metrics and market share
Engage stakeholders to achieve 100% definition of strategy and operating model
Provide the required assistance for the stakeholders to develop departmental business plans
Monitor and track the implementation of departmental business plans
Assist in taking meeting notes and drawing up actions from each meeting and close all actions from the meting before the next meeting.
Assist in documenting outcome from all strategy sessions and ensure 100% execution of the actions before the next strategy session.
Assist the Head of Strategy and Business Analysis to manage the Company’s Project Portfolio (Project progress, budget monitoring, status updates and follow ups).
Track and Monitor the execution of key projects
Assisting in tracking the key financial parameters of the business.
Assist in conducting stress Test analysis for the company
Assist in generating and analyzing Business MIS & Financial MIS, Co-coordinating with various departments.
Scanning & Analysis of Industry Peers/New business
Interaction and relationship building with Industry Consultants to ensure quick information availability.
Preparation & analytical review of various financial reports viz. projected profitability statement, and periodic financial report.
Gather, review and consolidate departmental weekly and the Group monthly reports
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field is required.
2-3 years work experience preferably in Financial Analysis/ Business Planning
Membership with the Institute of Management (Local or International)
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Financially savvy Project and program management skills
Ability to work seamlessly across hierarchies and businesses
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills
