Job Title: Business Development Executive (Entry Level)

Job Scope
The Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting the business development team in identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience, especially from a banking or financial services background, who are eager to expand their careers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients to drive revenue growth.
Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and identify potential target markets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Attend client meetings and follow up on client inquiries to foster positive relationships.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients.
Collaborate with the business development team to tailor offerings to meet client needs.
Coordinate sales activities, including scheduling meetings and preparing sales materials.
Track sales leads and update the CRM system with relevant client information.
Gather necessary documents and liaise with internal stakeholders during contract negotiations.
Ensure all agreements align with company policies and objectives.
Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market changes to provide insights that support business strategy.
Provide regular reports on market trends and business opportunities to the team.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and contract details.
Prepare and submit regular reports on business development activities and results to the Business Development Lead.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote the brand and generate leads.
Organize and coordinate promotional events and activities.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance business development skills.
Keep abreast of industry knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Business Development Lead to support team objectives.
Required Experience and Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship roles, preferably within the banking, insurance or financial services sector.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Desired Skills:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
Salary and Benefits
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
