Job Title: Quality Analyst and Automation Tester

• Are you an experienced Quality Analyst and Automation Tester with strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies and proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of AI software applications?
• Do you have the ability to innovate, multi-task, and work in an agile environment? Then, join our team for Product development and Project implementation in Lagos, Nigeria and contribute to the development of our next generation chatbot platform.
• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Analyst and Automation tester to join our AI chatbot development team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of our AI powered software product and will oversee the entire testing process, from planning and designing test cases to executing tests and analyzing results.
• He will also be responsible for automating repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy, and designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• This is a full-time Hybrid position.
• The position requires individuals who enjoy challenges, prioritize, meet deadlines, and have a collaborative work ethic and teamwork spirit working with our team of Solution Architects, Infrastructure experts, NLP Engineers, Speech Scientists, Back end and Frontend Developers, Analysts, and Designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Test Case Design: Creating detailed test cases to cover various scenarios.
• Test Execution: Executing manual and automated tests.
• Defect Tracking: Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects.
• Quality Reporting: Providing regular reports on the quality status of the product.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Communicating with stakeholders about testing progress and issues.
• Test Automation: Selecting appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
• Script Development: Creating automated test scripts using programming languages like Python, Java, or C#.
• Test Execution: Executing automated test scripts and analyzing results.
• Maintenance: Maintaining and updating automated test scripts as the product evolves.
• Performance Testing: Conducting performance tests to ensure the application meets performance requirements.
• Integration Testing: Testing the integration of the application with other systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA and Automations tester.
• Proficiency in using various testing tools, such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, and TestRail.
• Experience in conducting performance and load testing.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience testing mobile applications on different platforms.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or C# for test automation.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other team members.
• Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and completeness in testing.
