Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University has been at the forefront of building the capacity of SMEs and providing them with a wide range of support services in Nigeria since 2003. Key programs are Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management (CEM) and Social Sector Management. More recently we have started sector focused programs (School Leadership Program-SLD and Health Management Program-HMP). EDC is responsible for building enterprise culture across Pan-Atlantic University where all 200-Level students start and operate an enterprise on Campus for one year.

Job Title: Alumni Engagement and Support Manager

Job Overview
Are you passionate about fostering meaningful connections and driving engagement? Our leading enterprise development centre is seeking a dynamic and motivated Alumni Engagement and Support Services Manager.
In this key role, you will develop and manage a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy to nurture lifelong relationships between our organization and its alumni.
You will coordinate alumni events, create impactful communication plans, and develop opportunities for alumni to contribute to our growth.
Working closely with various departments, you will ensure our alumni remain well-informed and actively involved in our mission and activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni and foster a sense of connection and loyalty to the organization.
Plan and execute events, programs, and activities designed to attract and involve alumni in meaningful ways, such as networking events, reunions, and volunteer opportunities.
Develop and manage communication channels to keep alumni informed about organizational news, events, and opportunities for involvement.
Coordinate release of newsletters, email updates, social media posts, and other communications to engage and maintain regular contact with alumni.
Provide support services to alumni, including career counseling, job placement assistance, mentoring programs, and access to professional development resources.
Serve as a point of contact for alumni inquiries and requests, providing personalized assistance and referrals as needed.
Recruit, train, and manage alumni volunteers to support various initiatives and activities, such as admissions events, fundraising campaigns, and student mentoring programs.
Provide ongoing support, recognition, and appreciation to volunteers for their contributions to the organization.
Maintain accurate records of alumni contact information, engagement activities, and interactions using a database or CRM system.
Collect feedback from alumni through surveys, focus groups, and other methods to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze data and metrics related to alumni engagement and support services to track progress and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Must have 3-5 years of experience in alumni relations, event planning, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to fostering a strong alumni community.
