Ternary Security Limited - Our client, a Residents’ Association on the mainland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee their security operations. As a resident association, the priority is to ensure the safety and security of her community members, facilities, and visitors. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the security of the area, managing a team of security personnel, and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills.

Job Title: Security Supervisor

Location: Magodo phase II, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Report to: the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Security Secretaries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments.
• Monitor security operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and coordination.
• Train and mentor security personnel, ensuring they are knowledgeable about security protocols and procedures.
• Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on security operations and incidents.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of security equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Security certification as evidence of training in the field of security.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to respond to security incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in using security technology and systems.
