Job Title: Technical Analyst

Location: Lagos

The Opportunity

• The Energy Access Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of energy projects, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy and sustainable practices.
• This role requires a solid engineering background, a strong interest in the energy sector, and a passion for advancing energy technologies and solutions.

Your Role

• Conduct technical feasibility studies for new projects and initiatives.
• Track the progress of energy access projects, ensuring they meet established goals and reporting on outcomes.
• Provide technical support in the planning, execution, and management of energy projects.
• Prepare technical reports, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the formulation of policies related to energy access, ensuring they are sustainable and inclusive.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive energy consulting services.
• Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends in the energy sector.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development of proposals and bids for new projects.

Your Profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on the energy sector
• Good technical skills in energy systems, project management, and analysis
• Strong attention to detail and listening skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Strong interest in renewable energy projects is highly desirable
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools is an added advantage.
