Job Title: Analyst, Energy Market Research

Location: Lagos

Your Role

• Support in-depth market research projects focused on the African region, providing insights that inform clients’ strategic decisions and market positioning. 
• Support the market research department in due diligence, market analysis, and surveys, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of findings. 
• Write insightful articles and reports that reflect current trends, opportunities, and challenges in the energy sector, with a focus on Africa. 
• Develop presentations and reports to communicate research findings to internal teams, clients and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact. 
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders by representing EMRC at industry events, conferences, and meetings. 
• Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market data to identify emerging opportunities and challenges in the energy sector. 
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn about the energy sector, contributing effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

Your Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Law, Business administration, Communications, Journalism, Sociology, or a related field. 
• 1-3 years of relevant experience. 
• Strong research, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Experience in the Nigerian Power Sector is a significant plus.
