Job Title: Hair Saloon / Shop Manager

Job Description

• This is a full time, on-site role for a Manager at a hair saloon / store located in Jabi, Abuja.
• The individual holding this position willbe responsible for managing daily shop operations, including Managing staff, overseeing inventory, providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the shop's profitability, identifying new areas of business development, sourcing and liaising with hair vendors,and achieving sales targets.
• The manager will also contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase the shop's awareness and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the store.
• Inventory management.
• Procurement and maintaining stock levels.
• Business development.
• Handling customer inquiries, concerns and complaints effectively.
• Build and manage relationship with clients and customers.
• Familiarity with latest hair-care trends and techniquesandability to offer advice and recommendations on wigs, hairstyles and hair care products
• Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies to create awareness and promote products and services.
• Knowledge of promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Preparemonthly reports.
• Monitor, supervise and manage staff.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Relevant Degree or experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience preferably in the hair-care industry.
• Proven experiencein a similar role.
• Ability to manage ahair-care business andexcellent knowledge about the hair-care industry.
• Ability to liaise with hair vendors.
• Good knowledge of hair-care products, trends and styles.
• Ability to make wigs andstyle hairis an added advantage.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Management skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with inventory management and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and attain profitability goals.
• Familiarity with POS and other payment systems relevant to business.
• Handling customer inquiries, concerns and complaints effectively.
• Ability to build and manage relationship with clients and customers.
• Preferably Female.
