Job Description

• Prepare and cook delicious, high-quality dishes for our customers
• Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
• Develop and implement new recipes and menus to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
• Lead and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers
• Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
• Develop and implement new recipes and menus
• Collaborate with other chefs and culinary professionals to stay up-to-date on industry trends
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
• Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and presentation
• Train and mentor new kitchen staff members
• Manage kitchen budget and resources

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role
• Culinary degree or certification (optional)
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
• Creativity and innovation in recipe development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Food safety certification (optional)

Work Environment:

• Commercial kitchen environment
• Fast-paced and dynamic environment
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must be available to resume immediately. Proximity to the job location is an added advantage.

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 / month.
