Job Description
The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for creating a network of potential sponsors, including banks, beverage companies, and Fintech organizations.
This role involves presenting our events as appealing sponsorship opportunities, fostering strong relationships with sponsors, and successfully securing funding for the company’s wide variety of events.
The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for creating a network of potential sponsors, including banks, beverage companies, and Fintech organizations. Responsibilities
Sponsorship Acquisition:
Package events into attractive sponsorship opportunities.
Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations.
Identify and target potential sponsors from relevant industries.
Outreach and Networking:
Conduct regular outreach to potential sponsors and follow up on leads.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsors.
Attend industry events and network to build new relationships.
Regularly update and manage the CRM system to track sponsorship leads, relationships, and event funding status.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with the events team to ensure sponsor requirements are met.
Coordinate with sponsors to ensure successful event execution as needed.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide updates to sponsors on event progress and outcomes.
Track and report on sponsorship acquisition and retention metrics.
Provide feedback and insights on sponsorship strategies and performance.
Requirements
Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or a related role.
Ability to manage CRM and build new relationships.
Highly organized with strong project management skills.

Technical Skills:
Proven track record of securing sponsorships in the creative, culture, or events space.
Strong network of potential sponsors, particularly in banks, drinks companies, and fintech startups
Strong presentation skills.
Good knowledge of the industry, major players and competitors
Ability to carry out research and discover right sponsors for the organization
Ability to track each sponsors performance
Good marketing, event and promotional skills
Understand different product roles and responsibilities
Understanding in creation and adaptation of product models.
Soft Skills:
Good leadership skills
Ability to manage, coordinate and direct a team
Ability to delegate work efficiently and effectively
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
