Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Lawyer with at least 10 years of post-call experience to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have exceptional advisory skills, and a proven track record of managing complex legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
• Represent the firm in legal proceedings and manage disputes.
• Make court appearances and offer concrete impute and assistance in case representations.
• Propose corporate legal strategy to promote and ensure positive case outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on current laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to minimize risk and client exposures.
• Mentor and supervise junior legal staff.

Qualifications

• An LL.B Degree from a reputed University, with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division. An LLM is an added advantage.
• Must have been called to the Nigerian Bar.
• A minimum of 10 years of post-call experience, with significant expertise in corporate transactions and general litigation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to take initiative, exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Membership in good standing with the Nigerian Bar Association.
