Job Title: Head, Business Operations

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Summary

• To oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence across various departments.

Job Description

• Responsible for supporting the MD in developing and directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operations of the company.
• Be the driving force in identifying and developing new opportunities for the organisation to sustain growth
• Maintaining an on-going, transparent dialogue with the MD to ensure that the MD is kept up to date with day to day activities.
• Ensure that items requiring the attention of the MD are submitted in a timely manner and that relevant briefing papers are presented in sufficient time to allow consideration of content.
• Ensuring appropriate operational planning and quality assurance control systems are in place and complied with
• Manage the preparation of information for internal and external communications
• Representing the company in business meetings with Clients, and professional associations and sustain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Monitoring the operational performance of both internal and external service providers
• Keep abreast of industry news and market forces that may have both an adverse or positive influence on the organisation
• Provide direction and leadership for Head of Units to ensure the achievement of strategic plans and targets
• Oversee the recruitment, selection and development of employees in the organisation.
• Ensure that essential tasks undertaken are delegated effectively to other staff when taking leave.
• Ensure that the organization is compliant with all regulatory and industry requirements.
• Ensure company assets are well maintained through a system of audits and maintenance plans.
• Provide clear and concise weekly/monthly reports to the MD on business operations.

Required Skills

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 5 - 6 years work experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experienced in producing and developing strategic business plans
• Understanding of business management and operational process
• Demonstrable experience of managing tasks and deadlines; able to resolve conflicting priorities.
• The capacity and capability to encourage innovation and creativity within the organization
• Relationship & stakeholder management

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
