Job Description
The Learning and Development Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of the company’s learning and development services and solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of L&D products, services, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
The L&D Sales Specialist will identify business opportunities, develop client relationships, and work with internal teams to deliver customized L&D solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Generate new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing prospects in need of learning and development solutions.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand the client base.
Conduct needs assessments to understand the client’s learning and development goals and tailor solutions accordingly.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the sales process and throughout the implementation of L&D programs.
Follow up regularly with clients to assess the impact of delivered training and suggest further development opportunities.
Product Knowledge and Solution Customization:
Stay informed about the company’s L&D products and services, including e-learning platforms, training workshops, and leadership development programs.
Customize learning and development solutions to meet specific client needs and business challenges.
Collaborate with the L&D team to design and deliver tailored training programs.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive offerings, and client needs.
Use insights from market research to inform product development and sales strategies.
Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams on client preferences and market demands.
Sales Reporting and Performance Analysis:
Track and report on sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance using CRM tools.
Analyze sales metrics to optimize the sales process and improve efficiency.
Present regular reports to management on sales performance, forecasts, and client feedback.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5years of experience in sales, preferably in learning and development or B2B services.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, practices, and solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
