We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Insurance

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize all incoming mail and ensure necessary actions are taken
  • Provide an effective interface for internal and external guests of the MD/CEO
  • Organize briefing materials and logistics for workshop, presentations and bids
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries and process from start to resolution
  • Develop and maintain records and information systems in accordance with office policy and procedures
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining systems for the storage and retrieval of information
  • Assisting the MD/CEO in Financial Planning & Analysis and Reporting
  • Assisting the MD/CEO in tracking the key business parameters of the business.
  • Preparation and review of Profitability Reports and Variance analysis with estimates and projections.
  • Assist the MD/CEO in generating and analyzing Business & Financial information, coordinating with various departments.
  • Interaction and relationship building with Industry Consultants to ensure quick information availability.
  • Provide background information, meeting summaries and/or supporting documents in preparation for scheduled appointments, meeting, and Preparation of presentations & reports for the MD/CEO as required.
  • Interactions with external agencies, consultants on behalf of the MD/CEO as delegated. Schedule all internal and external appointments, conferences and speaking engagements and other commitments Handle changes or cancellations as deemed necessary and/or appropriate and speaking engagements
  • Maintain and track detailed priority list of projects and engagements
  • Maintain the MD/CEOs appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences and teleconferences
  • Plan domestic and International travel and Logistics (including visas) for the MD/CEO or as requested by the MD/CEO.

Requirements

  • A degree or Higher National Diploma in Business Administration or relevant course from a reputable higher institution Relevant Experience
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ work experience with at least 2 years as an Executive Assistant to a member of senior or executive management
  • Ability to speak French would be an added advantage.
